A New Chapter for Warner High School and Girls Basketball

Warner Public Schools is proud to announce two key leadership additions that will shape the future of our high school and athletic programs. With a continued focus on excellence, tradition, and community, these new roles mark an exciting step forward for Warner.

Coach Peters Named High School Principal

With 24 years in education and nearly two decades of service to Warner students, Mrs. Peters has been named the new High School Principal.

Throughout her career as a teacher, coach, and Athletic Director, she has built a culture centered on accountability, success, and student growth. Her leadership has consistently reflected a commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in competition.

“Her commitment to students, strong leadership, and long-standing investment in Warner make her the ideal choice to lead our high school into the future.”

Mrs. Peters’ deep connection to the Warner community and passion for student success position her to lead Warner High School into an exciting new era.

Coach Chadd Gehrke Named Head Girls Basketball Coach

Warner Athletics is excited to welcome Coach Chadd Gehrke as the new Head Girls Basketball Coach. Coach Gehrke brings 14 years of teaching and coaching experience, including 10 years as a head coach. His background includes coaching stops at Rejoice Christian School, Metro Christian Academy, Gore High School, Sallisaw High School, and most recently Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools, where he served as the head girls basketball coach.

“We are excited for the leadership, passion, and experience Coach Gehrke will bring to our girls basketball program and the Warner community.”

His experience and energy will play a key role in continuing to build a strong and competitive girls basketball program at Warner.
